10 ping bars in MW2

i Bet u all have 10 already i had this b4 i reinstalled steam
but any ways



Navigate to the folder: 'program files\steam\steamapps\common\call of
duty modern warfare 2\players' and open the file config_mp.cfg

Change scoresping_interval from 100 to 20, and maxbars from 4 to 10 (10
is the max).

This means that each of the 10 bars represents 20ms, with full green
being 20ms or lower, and 1 red being 200ms or higher.

do this it actually makes the bars useful

i dont know how well the ping bars work anyway as i have seen some really bad laggers with full bars even with 10.

Well i find it helps cause u can always tell whos host.

haha yeah its ok for that but i cant stand using like >100mbs an hour, wouldn't be a problem with dedicated servers lol

A great trick if u want to be host a lot is to go into your config file and change a setting that controls the maximum ping server IWnet will let you into. If it's set to 20 you will pretty much always be host, as you hosting the server it will see you with a ping of like 5, while other players hosting have pings like 100.

Editing you config file is not hacking as it offers you little advantages in game (10 Ping bars are one). You cannot be VAC banned for editing your config.
This program has some great features like config file backup and you can disable blood and other graphics if ur computer is super slow. Just look around it and the config file and you'd e surprised at what you can change.

Hmm the thing has a stats changer which is like a rank hack isnt it? cause it says u can input ur level? im not sure ive never used one before but it sure does seem like one lol. anyways nice find i like it

I've been shitting around with those config files heaps and as far as i know there is no way to get an unfair advantage through it its just little tweaks to your gameplay (ping bars, window mode, some effects)

No it doesn't rank hack you put in ur level and kills and stuff and it says stuff like you average 12 kills per game and stats like that
